His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud bade farewell to Bahrain yesterday after broad talks aimed at strengthening bilateral and trade relations and Gulf unity.

“As I leave your brotherly country, it gives me great pleasure to express to Your Highness my thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality that I and the accompanying delegation have received”, the crown prince tweeted as he flew to Kuwait. .

The joint talks in Bahrain confirmed the strength of ties and the willingness to deepen cooperation and strengthen relations in all fields, SAR added, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity. HRH Prince Mohammed was greeted at the airport by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Kuwait will be the final stop for Prince Mohammed, who was on a Gulf tour that took him to Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain ahead of the Gulf summit scheduled for later this month in Riyadh. Earlier yesterday, HM the King met with HRH Prince Mohammed at his residence with HRH Prince Salman.

His Majesty the King told HRH Prince Mohammed that the visit had strengthened the fraternal ties between the brotherly countries and asked to convey his greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques.

King Salman, HM the King said, plays a central role in defending Arab issues, supporting the march of the GCC, promoting pan-Arab work and promoting security and stability in the region and the world. King Hamad and HRH Prince Mohammed then discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, overall developments in the regional and international arena and the need to coordinate positions on issues of common interest.

At the end of the talks, the Saudi Crown Prince thanked HM the King for his welcome and hospitality and praised HM the King’s pioneering role in strengthening fraternal ties between the two countries.

HRH Prince Mohammed wished the Bahraini people continued growth and prosperity under the wise leadership of HM the King before departing for Kuwait. Saudi and Bahraini businesses also attended a forum on Thursday and discussed opportunities for economic integration and support for trade, investment and tourism.

Upon his arrival in Kuwait, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, welcomed HRH Prince Mohammed. It is also the third visit of HRH Prince Mohammed to Kuwait since he became Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
