Saint Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew shared a preview of the final day of the 72nd OECS Authority Meeting. The meeting took place at Montserrat.

Prime Minister Terrance Drew also delivered the keynote address at the opening ceremony of the OECS meeting. During his remarks, he described various challenges faced by world leaders in recent times.

He added: “I am still here in Montserrat on the last day of the 72nd meeting of the OECS Authority.”

On the last day, he also attended various caucus plenary sessions on various issues of concern. He also addressed major topics such as regional integration issues.

Prime Minister Terrance Drew said he attended various caucus plenary sessions on regional integration issues, particularly around enhanced cooperation and information issues related to reports from various councils and assemblies.

He also took part in a zoom meeting last night with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau and the other heads of government, continuing the ongoing talks and seeking solutions to the problems facing Haiti.

Prime Minister Drew was accompanied by Naeemah Hazelle, Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister and Samuel Berridge, Principal Assistant Secretary, Regional Integration and Diaspora Unit, Office of the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Terrance Drew also met Prime Minister of Grenada Dickon Mitchell with his fellow leaders and Prime Minister of the British Virgin Islands, Dr Natalio Wheatley.

The three leaders delivered inaugural addresses at the 72nd Meeting of the OECS Authority currently underway in Montserrat.

Saint Kitts and Nevis represented at the 72nd meeting of the OECS Authority. Prime Minister Drew also shared some photos from yesterday’s opening ceremony held at Montserrat. Saint Kitts and Nevis is represented at the meeting by the Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, who addressed the opening session.
