WAUKESHA – Kevin McElmeel has been hired as a mortgage consultant at Waukesha State Bank.

In his role, McElmeel will be responsible for mortgage origination, which includes meeting with prospects, taking mortgage applications, advising borrowers and developing relationships with real estate agents, builders, financial service providers and various community groups.
McElmeel began his career at Waukesha State Bank in September 2012 as a teller, according to the announcement. After five years working for Waukesha State Bank, he quit in 2017 when he served as bank manager in the Mukwonago office.

He then worked for two different mortgage brokers, most recently as Senior Loan Officer at Prosperity Home Mortgage.

“His residential lending experience, combined with his strong customer service skills, adds depth to our team as we seek to expand our mortgage client base.” McElmeel will be based at Waukesha State Bank Delafield, 3293 Golf Road and Mukwonago, 1160 N. Rochester St., serving all of southeast Wisconsin. He and his family reside in Mukwonago.
