Hello Arsenal fans
Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly interested in a transfer for Kyle Walker-Peters.
Tottenham could sabotage their plans, however, as they are believed to have a £30million buyout clause in his contract.
Walker-Peters, 25, joined Southampton from Spurs for £12m in 2020.
And now The Athletic are reporting that the Saints are considering a cash-in for the right-back.
Meanwhile, Fulham’s bid to sign Bernd Leno could fall apart with Arsenal apparently demanding too much money for the goalkeeper.
But Arsenal are asking Fulham to pay £11million to sign him, according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenburg.
Los Blancos are planning to bring in a goalkeeper this summer but have been quoted at £11m – despite Leno being out of contract at the end of next season.
Negotiations between the two clubs are continuing in the hope of reaching an agreement.
Elsewhere, Arsenal hope to complete the signing of N’Golo Kante in the coming days, according to reports.
Kante’s contract is coming to an end and he could free Chelsea next summer at the end.
But the Blues are ready to take advantage of him now to avoid the nightmare scenario.
Thomas Tuchel’s side reportedly want £33m for the midfielder but the Gunners believe they can nab him for just over £16m next week.
Finally, Arsenal could be lucky in their pursuit of Turin ace Gleison Bremer if he meets the club’s asking price.
The Torino president was unable to give a concrete figure when asked what that price was.
But he believes Bremer is worth more than £59m-rated Milan Skriniar, who is linked with PSG.
Speaking on Bremer’s value, Turin chef Urbano Cairo told La7: “Is there a fair price for Bremer? Yes, but I don’t think it’s fair to say that,” said Turin president Cairo.
“I’m on great terms with his agent and I’ve spoken to him. The player is an amazing guy. I told him that when a suitable offer comes along I’ll sell him. But it’s all relative.”
