AIME Launches New Education Program, AIME Academy, for the Wholesale Mortgage Community

PHILADELPHIA CREAM–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Association of Independent Mortgage Experts (AIME), a national, not-for-profit trade association that supports mortgage professionals, has announced its new education program, the AIME Academy. The launch of the AIME Academy introduces two new training programs – the Loan Officer Assistant Training Program and the 100 Level Processor Training Program – both designed to provide entry-level training to learners without prior knowledge of the mortgage industry.

“AIME Academy was created to specifically help broker owners and small brokerage shops, who often lack critical in-house training support,” says Katie Sweeney, CEO of AIME. “Our association is committed to helping our members grow their businesses effectively, and in order for the broker channel to continue to grow, we must provide the tools and resources that make it easier for their businesses to thrive.”

Loan Officer Assistant Training Program

The Loan Officer Assistant training program is designed to provide the basics of the mortgage industry and its history, while teaching the responsibilities and expectations of the medium-large LOA. This self-paced program also highlights the basic requirements of Fannie Mae, FHA, HUD, VA, and USDA Sales Guides, and is designed to support wholesale brokers with their internal training processes.

Processor: 100 level training program

The Processor: Level 100 training program is the first level of a multi-level processor training plan, teaching future processors how to analyze initial loan data. Interns will be able to determine eligibility including income, property, assets and credit. This competitive 10-hour program guides learners through five in-depth courses, covering lender regulations, guidelines, PCI, and various workflows, all specifically designed for the wholesale mortgage channel.

Program learners can work at their own pace towards the next level of certification, and all graduates earn competency badges and a certificate of completion. Both training programs are available immediately in AIME Academy with additional courses available in the coming months.
